Dixons arranged a family funeral and ensured the day went as well as it possibly could. The staff, in particular Krista, were professional, responsive throughout the process and delivered an excellent service on the day. Krista helped us make key decisions throughout, recommended a celebrant and helped with venue options, all of which made a difficult day easier for us.
We used Dixon’s for my wife’s funeral and I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received. Everything was handled with clarity and professionalism, which made a difficult time much easier to navigate. In particular, they were very accommodating when things didn’t quite go to plan. For example, staying open late when I was delayed in traffic travelling from the registrar, and opening on a Saturday so that we could visit the chapel of rest. They always responded quickly to any questions I had, and supported me every step of the way. I also really valued being able to take coffin brochures home so that we could, as a family, choose something personal and of real significance. The straightforward approach throughout, with no pressure, was hugely appreciated. A massive thank you to Abi and all the team for the support. If I could give more than 5 stars, I genuinely would.
Absolutely amazing Dixons went above and beyond to help us. Whenever we needed to speak to them they were available and would help us with anything we needed. I would definitely use them again. In the UK, the funeral industry isn’t regulated, meaning anyone can call themselves a funeral director. At Dixons Funeral Services, we go above and beyond by voluntarily subscribing to the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD).
As NAFD members, we follow the Funeral Director Code, undergo regular inspections—including by Rochdale Health Inspectors—and are committed to the highest standards of care.
If a complaint arises, we follow the NAFD Resolve process, independently overseen by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR).
